Our Story
At SPOCO Sports Residential School, Belagavi, every child's dream matters. What began as the vision of Mr. S.M. Kaluti inspired by his visit to Japan's EXPO-1970 and moved by India's struggle at the 1982 Asian Games has today grown into a beacon of hope for young talent.
Founded in 1984, SPOCO became the first co-operative sector sports school in India, blending academics with professional sports training. For decades, we have been shaping students into scholars, athletes, and leaders giving them the power to break barriers and chase their dreams.
Why We Exist?
Many of our children come from families who cannot afford quality education or sports facilities. Without us, their talent would remain hidden. With us, they get the tools, training, and care to shine on the state, national, and global stage.
